Suicide or Survive
Suicide or Survive (SOS) is an Irish charity focused on breaking down the stigma associated with mental health issues and ensuring that those affected have access to quality recovery services that are right for the individual.
The organisation is working to build a society where people embrace their mental health wellness and those with difficulties are treated with dignity and respect, and experience a service that offers them hope, a safe place and a positive future. SOS is leading the way through active collaboration which they believe will drive positive social change.
SOS will continue to be a part of change that is no longer a choice but essential for our families and our communities. In recessions – as history has shown us – our mental health will be challenged now more than ever, so it is our duty to one another to put in place community-based projects that will support a person through these tough times.
SOS is providing information on their website (e.g. tips on how to feel good) and training/workshops in different locations in Ireland.
